Tourette’s Syndrome is a form of neurodiversity that causes sudden movements or sounds that are repeated regularly.
As you would know if you read the all about me page or the home page, I have Tourette’s Syndrome but I initially tended to get more vocal tics than motor tics.
After a year of being at secondary school, I now struggle much more with motor tics (movement), mainly around my neck, but I think I will get more vocal tics next. My vocal tics can be growling, tongue clicking, sharp inhalations and exhalations and one that sounds like gulping; of course everyone is different, this is just me.
My motor tics (movements) include stretching arms and legs, nose wrinkling, eyebrow raising, blinking and stretching my neck.
